Last weekend was the annual Rib Cook-Off in Kansas City. We hadn't seen our KC friends since March, so we decided this was a great time to go. The weekend was kind of a disaster for us. We didn't realize how loud and busy Brian & Marianne's house would be and how that would make it very difficult to put Adrianne down for bed. Needless to say, she didn't get a nap on Saturday and we tried for a long time to put her to bed that night without luck. We ended up packing up all our stuff and heading to Ryan's Aunt Sherry's house. Sunday we had planned on going to the zoo but when we woke up it was raining! We made new plans to go to the Thomas' for lunch followed by Cabela's then heading home. We wish we would have made better plans for the weekend and would have had more time to spend with our friends, but we still enjoyed seeing them and hope maybe they'll come visit soon.
