Tanganyika Wildlife Park

Today Julie and I took the kids to Tanganyika Wildlife Park. I'd been wanting to visit there for a while but never found a good time. Today the weather was just beautiful, it was a perfect day to go. It cost almost $12 for me to get in (thankfully I didn't have to pay for Adrianne), which seemed pretty expensive for the small collection of animals they had. We still had a great time, and I'm glad we forked out the money to go. There were several places where you could pet the animals or pay to feed them and I think Adrianne really enjoyed that. We will definitely have to take Ryan back with us next time.

Petting the kangaroo - it was SO soft. There were several kangaroos with
joeys in their pouches, it was fun watching them squirm inside
Petting the rabbits - one of the rabbits bit a girl right after we left,
thank goodness that wasn't my daughter
This was my absolute favorite part - feeding the lemurs.
This one just climbed right up on us and stayed for a while after it ate our craisin
The waterfall there is beautiful - we had to get a picture of the two of us
Landon was so scared to pet the tortoise
Gibbons are some of my favorite animals. The highlight of the day was getting to hear them call each other from across the exhibit. It's an awesome sound.
Isn't this just the cutest little clouded leopard ever? He was very playful,
jumping at the glass and having all sorts of fun.
