Last weekend was Night of the Living Zoo at the zoo. The event is Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and each year I work the event nights and Ryan volunteers to help out. So early in October, maybe even Septemeber, Ryan started thinking of ideas for his costume and decided he would be a scarecrow. He drew a picture of what he wanted and went out looking for an old flannel shirt, work gloves, straw hat, burlap bags and straw for his costume. He was a great looking scarecrow! He had kids asking to have their picture taken with him, and even scared a couple people when they thought he was a manequin and turned out to be a real person.
